PLEASEEEE help ...going nuts!!

Well i go to my profile and change my email address, which is fine and they send me a new password to the "changed account" which is all goos so far, so i sign into anandtech using the changed password and go to my profile to change password (to one i can remember) and to my suprise my OLD email address is back again (which is weird as they sent the password change to the new email address), i have now completed this 3 times all with the same result, so why the heck does my old email account always show back up? and how can i get it permanently changed to the correct email address?

Any issues with your new address being on the banned list (found in the FAQ )? If not, try sending a private message detailing the problem to Anantech Moderator for a possibly quicker resolution.

From the FAQ in allisolm's link...the following free email services are blocked:

AOL
Bigfoot
Excite
Gotoworld
Hotmail
Nightmail
Whitehouse
Yahoo
All domains operated by portofevil.com, aka evilemail.com

Since Gmail will eventually be a free email provider, I assume that it will also be blocked, but I don't know if it has been blacklisted yet.

Well it was certainly none of those, it is from a New Zeland based ISP @orcon.net.nz so it doesn't match any of the banned ones and if it was a banned one then it shouldnt have changed my password, i did message the moderator who also said if it was banned it wouldnt have changed password, so they will look into it further .... hope they can get it sorted as it is becoming a pain in the .... you know where

Ahhh well it seems to have kept my email address now, just checked on profile, so maybe the 16th try was the lucky one aye? .... i would have prefered a lower number really..... or maybe the moderator got some super glue and glued the new mail address in place... why didnt i think of that earlier.... thanks for all your help people!!
