PlusView vs. Cooler Master case

I'm torn on which case to get... mid-tower or full tower, doesn't really matter too much. I would like a clear side panel which will bump the Cooler Master up another $25. Anybody with experience for both cases?

Both are nice cases; you can't really go wrong with either. The Cooler Master has a removable motherboard tray which is a nice plus, but like you said, it's more expensive. If you care about aesthetics, that Cooler Master will be ugly if you have beige drives.

I have the old version of the pretorian(looks the same just says atcs on it) and it is seriously the sickest case ever. Everyone who sees it comments on how nice it looks. Its a classy case with suberb build quality and it cools nicely. I recomend it 100%,

I don't recommend the antec here. Its door is exremly tempermetal and fragile. I broke two maybe cause I'm clumsy buy I think it's more along the lines of cheaply made plastic. Also the case fans are loud in this case. 2 x 80mm at high rpm which need to be replaced. What it does have going for it is great air flow, great PSU and major space. It's a relativly dated look since it's been around for about 4 years now in one form or another but this speaks to it's success.


the coolermaster is good becasue of removable tray and no door to break.

I personally like the sivlerstone cases cause they are beautiful and I like to be surronded by pleasant things.

I'm sorry, but all the Antec cases that I have ever used have been superbly built and easy to manuvuer in. I currently use a SOHO file server Antec case w/ a steel chasis and there is nothing "flimsy" about it. If anything, it is too heavy (not something that I'd want to carry to a lan party).

Thanks guys! I didn't notice there is a case/cooling forum, since the opinions have been pretty even so far, I will try it in that forum as well just to get even more inputs. =)

The door is cheaply made not the case which is solid as a rock. Don't tell me it's not I have a couple SOHO's both the 1030 when it first came out and the 1040 about 6mo later. All I'm saying is you have to be careful. Proof is the doors for these are the first item on ANTEC's parts page.

Hey man, Antec cases are awesome.... 3/3 cases in my house are Antec, but Coolermaster makes the best cases on the planet.... and I am not lying when I say, I sincerely believe that. its all about the Coolermaster.. but it comes at a price

I have several Antec cases and they are very well made. I just ordered this Cooler Master case (previous post) and these are definately higher quality and lighter in weight than Antec's steel cases. So I'd give the nod to Cooler Master...
