To me there is no comparison.

One looks like a plastic POS that looks something like a Belkin powerbar.

The second one looks like something straight out of a dream. Perfect.

Then again I'm biased just like everyone and the second one is the one I ordered recently.

In fact I'm going for an all silver aluminum look including case, monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse. =)

Yeah it is, somebody suggested I should post the topic here so I did. =)

Thanks! Looks like the opinions are still 50/50.

I can't believe your questioning it. Go with the CoolerMaster.

the PlusView looks like a POS, and there are several thousand clones of the exact same design (Chieftec/Antec, etc).

If I could stand on my head, I could make this decision while doing so. Coolermaster!

No experience with the coolermaster, but I have the plusview and I love it. Tons of space, easy to work with, good airflow (5 case fans), solid (27lbs!). I was also on a budget and got it for $50 after MIR at CompUSA. I have to agree the Coolermaster looks pretty nice as well, but if it's gonna cost me an extra ~$75 I don't know if it's worth it.

What keyboard and mouse were you planning on getting? Im attempting to do the same as you the all silver look. I just need a good mouse and keyboard to go with my Wavemaster

BenQ recently came out with a decent keyboard that's silver metalic.

Coolermaster has one too but mostly people don't like it because its just like a laptop keyboard.

I haven't quite decided yet but I have no problems using a laptop keyboard and my hands are massive.

Here is another candidate for me.

In fact there are several keyboards like this.

Here is the one I'm most likely to get.

As far as a mouse is concerned I see only one choice.

Here is the sound system I'm getting.

Here is the widescreen LCD I'm getting. Ok so there is three and I cannot decide which one yet. I'm going to post a thread on this in the video section.

Door #1

Door #2

Or Door #3

Aopen A600A, very nice

That's actually not bad but not without a hitch.

Sadly it requires that you purchase your own 80mm or 92mm front fan because it doesn't come with one.

Also because it only supports the smaller fan up front and there is a 120mm fan at the back, you will have to adjust the RPM of both fans to ensure equal airflow both pulling air in and pushing it out.

Otherwise you get inconsistent airflow and that's not good.

Which means you should be looking at getting a fan controler if you go with a case like this, and hope it works well.

Sometimes I wonder why case makers are dumb.

So many cases out there with great internal engineering but it looks like someone was on drugs when they designed the looks.

Or it looks really great but the insides are nowhere near as well engineered as it could have been.

I still haven't found a single case that I could give 10 out of 10 to.
