Pointclick RIP?

First off - Mods, I know this is OT for Hot Deals but there used to be an exclusive Pointclick thread that's been archived.

Anyways, I went to Pointclick to check on the $150 that they owe me and found.... a blank page! Can anyone else confirm this? Things don't look so good, especially since they promised to send status updates as they received funding to pay us but I never received a single "status update"

I spoke to "carl" last Friday to ask what the %&$*$ was going on. He said they were "close" to getting funding (ha). He actually said that the employees (him included) had received an e-mail from management telling them that they were getting funding and he was glad becuase now maybe the employees could get paid.... Hum..... I doubt we get paid before the employees ... I asked why they had posted no winners since the site format change and he blamed it on the third party company that was handling the prize drawing/notification and said they hoped to have somehthing up this week. I know it is a lie, but MAYBE they are redoing the site -- or maybe they are down and out for the cout. My $306 hurts a lot. Boy did I ever over pay for my GeForce 2 DDR card on the hope of getting back a full refund. Screwed and tatooed over here !

Close to getting funding?? I thought that they secured the funding a month ago. It sounds like they are stringing people along.

If the employees are hanging around ... not getting paid ... believing their management ... then I won't feel sorry for them if they never get paid. The economy is still doing well, bail out on these scum-bag companies if they're not treating you right.

I personally have $78 they owe me. It would benefit you and me if we all went over to pointclick and clicked as many links as we can for these stupid points. if they have enough clicks they will get funding and we will get our money. They make their money based on how many visitors they send someone and how much sales they generate through links. SO CLICK!!!! I have been clicking 10-20 links a day.....

Sorry, I'm not buyin the "we need to go click so they'll make money to pay us" crap anymore. I think we'd have a better chance of getting their attention if everyone stopped clicking.

I think it's time from them & us to accept that they're history. We've all gotten the emails promising that the money was on it's way. And didn't the page with the rules about the drawings (the page that seems gone now) say that winners would start being posted on the site starting Nov 10th? They've defaulted on August & September checks, they've committed fraud by continuing to advertise the 10% rebate (and now 5-10%) when they obviously have no way of paying it, they failed to credit points for sign-up bonuses and now they've apparantly failed to hold the drawings and award the prizes they claimed they would. It's over... and the last thing I'm gonna do for these thieving so&so's is click links so they can charge legit companies like Onvia & Buy for click-thru's and pocket the cash.

I'll try and drive out to the address that's in the WHOIS for their domain and see what's out there sometime at the beginning of next week hopefully... (Monday or Tuesday) and see if it's a house, business place, or what. Don't know if that'd help or what, but I dunno what else to do

So, how does one go about filing Proof of Claims?

Well, there's not a whole lot we can do most likely... except file proff of claims once someone gets a bankruptcy notice. I also plan on sending emails to all the vendors who I purchased from and didn't get my check. I will let them know how PO'd I am about getting screwed by PC. And I will remind them that PC led them to me. And in my opinion, they new that PC was unlikely to pay the rebates yet they continued to advertise there. Will it matter?? Unlikely. But if enough people call them on the carpet for their questionable promotional activities, maybe they'll think twice before hooking up with another group of scammers like PC.

i have more than 200 bucks in pointclick and i have already made a reimbursement on april. it has been more than half a year and yet my money has not come.

WTF is going on wwith them??

can anybody tell me what should i do??
i have never tried to call them.
