I have had better experience with USPS "tracking" than UPS tracking, which is pure garbage. I know USPS doesn't have real tracking.

I guess this can cut both ways. Here in Tucson, we have contract fedex drivers, and the one that services my route is very reliable. He realized that his repeat business is largely under his control and has treated me right. UPS drivers are overworked and underpaid and it shows in their work. The pressure applied by UPS management has a negative effect on service.

I called back and talked to a supervisor who offered to find out who I spoke to but I told her I really didn't care.. I told her she can call herself and find out why I'll never use UPS after this experience. I know that means nothing to them and is an empty consumer threat I imagine they receive all the time but it doesn't make it any less untrue having said it.

I sent an email to the seller describing how I'd like it packaged this time. He assured me it was sent properly, he even shipped it from his company's shipping warehouse using the same materials (rubber foam, peanuts, bubble wrap) but I'll try and get him to double box it this time and ship it via FedEx w/ a faster shipping time. 2 days isn't bad from UPS, but apparently they used it as a punching bag for those 2 days.

That was the point where I basically blew up last time I had a problem with them.
Apparently once they've flagged it as "return to sender," it falls into a magical black hole where nothing can be done with it.

Really, their slogan should be, 'What can brown terribly mangle and fvck up today and then act like a total **** to you when you question it?'

UPS is steadily declining in QC. I once had a UPS package sit at a dist. center for 6 days before it moved again. They made a typical 1-2 day delivery into 2 weeks.
And no, that's not the only issue I had with UPS.
