Oy, Russ, you're right it was the '92 debate but I thought even back then the stupid federal bi-partison debate commission required a 15% showing in the polls (obviously not the presidential election day national polls, oy.). I also remember that group of fine folks saying all a third-party needs to do is prove they have a believable chance of winning. Today, since there are other third-parties like Vader's and Browne's showing in national polls this reduces the numbers overall for any single party, the Debate Kinds can effectively shut all of them out. Nuts, nuts!
