I haven't seen any posts yet where anyone has given a verdict on these, but I ordered 2 Monday.
The hope is that these Yate Loon fans perform simarly to the 1000rpm Nexus fans.

All I know is it is a 1350rpm Yate Loon. (They make Nexus fans)

Don't have any other specs.

I ordered some of the isellsurplus fans on Sunday but they haven't shipped yet. I read at spcr that they were a little slow but now I'm learning the reality. Computer Geeks is a better bet if they have the fans in stock.

I have two of them. They are very quiet, slight motor at 12V, when you hit 9V and below, it gets very very quiet. 5V is pretty much inaudible in any real world usage. It is slightly louder than nexus at 12V only. Obviously from the 200-300rpm difference. This fan is worth it, not only because it is quiet, but because it is less than 1/2 the price of the nexus which is the same fan, with slight tweeks and a different sticker.

i also bought 2 of these fans from compgeeks.com. mine are connected to the 'fan only' connectors on my power supply and are really inaudible. here's a pic of them in my sonata. Text

That's odd. I would call them. I ordered early Monday morning and received shipping notification later that same day.

Glad to see some good results posted here cause $15-25 for a fan is just insane! Eventually Nexus, Acoustifan and some others will have to drop in price as well.

Well, for nexus you have Yate loon, and for Acoustifan you have Globe. Pick your pick, both Globe and Yateloon are 8$ while their rebranded counterparts are 20$. Their target market is so small, that i doubt they will really change their prices :/

An extra piece of info: isellsurplus.com is offering the option of free ground shipping for orders of $25 or greater. I ordered two each of the 120mm and 80mm fans, for $26.78 and no shipping charge.

Not sure what the specs are on the Yate Loon 8025M 12 80x80x25 mm fan, since there is no 8025M 12 model number on the Yate Loon site. However, the only two Yate Loon model numbers that look similar have specs very similar to each other: 2200/2300 RPM, 27.0/28.0 CFM, and 29/29 dB. Not bad.

My order with isellsurplus.com was made Monday. Well it came yesterday (Thursday). Unfortunately I was at work when the postman came, so he will attempt delivery again today. (signature required) That is 3-day USPS to Oklahoma which isn't bad. They are probably midwest or east coast. NewEgg usually takes a week.
