I have. QC2s pale in comparison to my SR60s, which are $60 headphones. Granted, they are open headphones, but a pair of HD280s beat QC2s in everything except bass amount (but QC2s have bloated bass anyway, so that doesn't really matter).

In other words, most of the people here who knock Bose already own better and often more expensive equipment. So their motivation for knocking Bose is NOT jealousy.

Again, I am not arguing audio perfection, which, the Bose cannot match. However, when it comes down to pure comfortability on an airplane, car, or any other transportation, the Bose simply cannot be matched in keeping the ambient noise low. I find them far more comfortable than my IEMs on flights and I fly a hell of a lot.

Would I give up audio perfection for such comfortability? You bet your ass, I'd rather have the sound be at 80% than hear the drone of engines so loud you have to crank up the music to counter it.
