Let's see your setup!

Well I have a projector upstairs with big speakers and stuff but that is the guys' rooms not for family and guests.

I'll post a picture of the 58" plasma in our living room when I get a chance.

It's not so much that these setups are ugly it's that you can tell these people are actually trying to make things aesthetically pleasing and it's just appalling.

Refaced the fireplace and put up a plasma TV.
Just finished it last weekend. Took a month to complete.

Before
After

The fireplace was shortened on the sides which is why there's concrete exposed. Hardwood flooring is coming soon...

Equipment:
Hitachi 50" 1080i Plasma (we actually won this, which resulted in the whole project)
Harman Kardon AVR-330
Infinity TSS-750 Speakers/Sub
DirecTV HD receiver
Dish Network DVR
Sony Prog Scan 5 DVD changer
VCR
Xbox360 (still in my room when photo was taken)
Monoprice wall mount (best value ever!!!)
A bunch of Monoprice cables running through the wall, connected to Monoprice wallplates.

This thread is a lot meaner than I thought it would be . I thought we were just sharing set-ups and giving each other the occasional "nice job so and so" comments.

Its not even a TV lol, its from our old Commadore computer set up, just composite video in and mono audio in, I was using it for a wireless video camera so when I record vocals or guitar or key board or whatever I can see the person singing/playing. People I think felt uncomfortable with it so I took the camera down.

If it helps, the flash makes the paint look lighter then it is....besides the color green makes you happy, or so my sister said, when the wife and myself were deciding on paints.
