Not sure I actually "need" a 480...but I have read that it is always good to have more power than one needs so that the supply of electricity is always stable and pure.
Actually I already have a True Power 430, but I was planning on replacing the old 250 watt P/S in my wife's computer. She has considerably less equipment in her computer, but I wanted to make sure she had a good p/s as they are so important.
People say that a quality power supply will be 100w better then a crap power supply. What are your system specs (include everything!) so that we can make a better judgement on a power supply?
