I have a Celeron 800 system with a Tyan Tomcat S2060 motherboard with the i815e chipset and I was wondering if there is a way to keep the computer from turning on and booting up whenever the power is disconnected and reconnected. I know on some other motherboards there is an option in the bios that can be set which controls if the system powers up in case of power failure. I have checked the manuals and the Tyan website and I have not been able to find anything.
There is a lot of work being done on the power grid in my area and sometimes the power goes in and out a couple of times in a row. Since my system automatically starts to boot up everytime, you can imagine what kind of havoc it can play on my setup. Thanks.
