Bah. Everyone says "I'll give so much to so and so, and so much to so and so" but when it comes down to it, you really don't want to give away 99.9% of your money. $1 million isn't enough to live off for more than 10 years anyway if you want a nice car and a nice house. And I bet the gov't takes 40% anyway.
I smell troll. He probably figures I wouldn't say something like that for fear of "not getting the money". Bah!
I already have a nice car and house and it's paid for. I could find a way to live off $1 million for the rest of my life!
Yeah, with the right investments, you'd do pretty well living off of $1,000,000. Even in an ING Direct Orange savings account earning 3.8% interest, you could pull out $38,000 per year and never touch the original million.
The interest alone a single person could live off of, depending on where they lived. If you continued to work, that extra $38,000 would come in handy I'm sure.
If you did win a lotto jackpot this size, you'd be smart to hire a lawyer immediatly and take the funds anonymously. Look at all the people begging for money here from someone who claims they won the jackpot - now imagine it's the real winner and the entire country knows your name and address. You'd have people camping out on your lawn asking for money!
