I've been sick for a loooong time so I went to the doctor last week. It turns out I caught a pretty bad strain of influenza in the middle of June. Since it's a virus, the doc couldn't give me wonderful antibiotics and could only advise me to take various over-the-counter meds to help the symptoms. Luckily, I've got just about everything beat now... no more fever, aches, chills, etc. However, things aren't perfect.
A few days ago I started experiencing some annoying nasal congestion and pressure in my ears. Stuff like Sudafed handles the nose troubles pretty well, but the ears are still plugged up! Does anyone have any home remedies or over-the-counter solutions to my problem they'd recommend? This sucks!
(I know this isn't a board for medical advice, but this isn't serious, it's just annoying. I'll definitely take my concerns to the doc if this persists for too long or gets worse. I just thought I'd give you guys a try, since some of you are likely to have had this problem at some point.)
Thanks!
