I just purchased a USB 2.0 2.5" IDE external drive enclosure. I put a 20gb laptop drive in it, and so far, it has been working just fine. I moved all of my MP3's from my D drive over to this drive, and when I share the folder, I get this message when I try to access the drive from any computer on the network including my own that says the shared folder is not accesible, and that I might not have permission to use this network resource. Below that, it says "Not enough server storage is available to process this command."
i had the same folder shared on another drive before, and it worked just fine. I am guessing that it has something to do with the fact that the drive is removeable, but I have no clue what to do about it. I am running windows XP Pro on a Compaq 2800T. I have not installed service pack 1 yet, but I will do that sometime soon.
