im having problems with my 2D games ever since i reformatted and installed Win2K. Im running the latest drivers, the 40.72 i think, and my previous set still gave me problems with 2D games.
It seems like part of my screen kinda tears up in 2D games. Or sometimes, it makes certain sprites look really weird. In one occasion in Disciples 2, the right half of my screen was on the left, and the left on the right. It seemed like it shifted off the screen, and the shifted part started on the other side.
This is happening in EVERY 2D game i own, in one form or another. At first, i thought it was Vsync problems. But using aTuner, overriding in the drivers, and RefreshForce; have all resulted in no help. It couldnt be it, because 3D games running at really high FPS still run fine and great.
On a side note; the Civ3 text is off screen making diplomatic actions really hard do. But i beleive every nVidia based card is suffering that problem...if anyone has found a fix, please point me as well
if anyone can help solve my problems, i will be very grateful! thanks in advance!
