Problem with Quicktime

Why is this in the CPU forum, because the only thing changed on my system is an upgrade from a 2500+ Barton to a 3200+ Barton.

But now, when I play a Quicktime movie, after a few moments the video goes out of sync with the sound. Seems that the sound keeps going in real time yet the video lags behind it.

If I go into the BIOS and change the FSB from 200 back to 166 (which it was for the 2500+ Barton) it seems to work then. But switching it back to 200 FSB it gets wacky again.

Everything else seems to work find though.

It doesn't effect anything else but Quicktime video. AVI, MPEG and WMV movies work fine. Also, I have the latest BIOS flashed on my MB.

Have you reinstalled quicktime?

Yes, reinstalled quicktime, still the same thing.

But I've gone into my BIOS and switched everything to just "AUTO" for the chipset features and kept the FSB to 200. Now everything seems to work...which is weird. Also weird that this only effects QT.
