I have dual OS boot (linux / winxp) setup with 10 Gb partition for linux and two 35 partitiions for winxp (so my Son and I can have our 'own' . After playing around with linux we've decided to reclaim the 10 Gb partition for other stuff. I can't remember if I removed linux after cdrom booting linux, or just reformated the partition. Anyway, when I go to see what is on old linux partition, it shows a completely blank directory. However, when I reboot, I still get the Mandrake 8.2 menu to choose between linux, floppy, linux-nonfb, failsafe and NT (what it calls my winxp OS). If I choose linux, it locks- if I choose NT, it boots into winxp.
My question is: Were there separate programs or files that needed to be removed from the C: drive (that's where winxp boots from)? I've completely reformtated the linux partition
