I've had this motherboard for about a month and a half, but haven't really used the usb ports. I did remember that I wanted to use a usb printer on this computer, but I couldn't get it to work so I just ended up using my old computer to print. (I didn't really think much of it at the time because I thought it was a driver problem) But now as I bought a gaming mouse and am trying to use my jump drives, I found out that there is really something wrong with the USB ports.
When I check under the device managers, it has a yellow exclamation mark saying that there is something wrong with the USB Root Hub. I was advised by my friend to uninstall the driver and reinstall it. Could some tell me how to do that and what drivers I should reinstall? Does it matter if I use a driver from a year ago or is there a specific driver for the Intel ICH8 Family Universal Serial Bus Controllers. I hope it isn't something wrong with the board internally. Thanks for your time.
