Hello all,
I had a quick question. I recently had a Dell guy replace my processor in my laptop becuase the first dell guy broke my computer. So i orginally had a P3-Mobile 700Mhz with Speedstep [550 Mhz] - However when the tech installed the new processor i saw the boot up stuff and it said 800 Mhz / 650 Mhz - so i was quite excited. However I downloaded Intel's Processor Frequency ID Utility and it says my processor is 650 MHz when plugged in or whether it's on battery. Any idea oh how I can confirm all this. I want to know if my new 800 Mhz is broken and can't work at the specified speed, and will only work at 650Mhz.
Thanks in advance.
Update: Fixed, changed setting in BIOS.
