i5 2500k
MSI P67A-GD65
G.Skill 4x2gb 1066
C300 128gb SSD
So I've been having random issues with freezing/restarts ect... I started trying to troubleshoot by checking the ram and updating the bios. Running Memtest I would get errors so I tried new ram. Still getting errors. So I tried a new motherboard.
The error I get in memtest (It isn't an error technically) is that an unexpected event has occurred. So seeing as everything else was new I thought I'd see if it was the processor. I disabled all but one core in the bios and ran memtest again. Works perfectly.
Does this mean a core is bad?
