<< I look at the specs and see that the Xbox is a lot better value than the PS2. Sure, you have to shell out $30 for the DVD, but looking at the gaming aspects, having the hard drive built in and being broadband ready is a lot better than what PS2 has. With PS2 you currently have to resort to buying expensive and slow memory cards with the possibility of paying more money later on for a hard drive add-on, and it requires the purchase of extra hardware to go online. >>
I look at the PS2 and I see a great library (to go along with the "out of date" PS1
games). I see the Xbox and the promise of delivering in the future. Buy PS2 now.
Wait and see with Xbox. There's plenty of time. Besides Xbox isn't going to receive
its big online push until middle of next year (and if recent rumblings are to be
believed, not until LATE next year). Online gaming is overrated anyway...
