PS4 Cloud Saves question

Is anyone here familiar with how the PS4 cloud save feature works across multiple ps4 systems? I have my own PS4 but I regularly play games at a friends house on his PS4 as well. I impulse bought a PS+ subscription while I was logged into my friends PS4.

I can see all of my cloud saves from his PS4 and it functions as expected when I am logged into his PS4 at his house. However, when I go to my PS4 and look at the saved data in online storage I always get a message that says 'No Data Found'. I cannot see any saved games in my online storage from my PS4. I also cannot upload any saves from my PS4, I always get an error code.

The odd thing is, it looks like auto-uploading is working from my PS4. If I play a game and then go to my friends house, I can see the updated save file in the cloud. I just cannot see any files or perform manual uploads from my PS4 for some reason.

I have deactivated my PS4 and reactivated it as primary and I have looked at my friends PS4 and it is not marked as primary when I am logged in. It seems to be working, I just would really like to be able to see my cloud saves from my system

Just download the saves from the cloud and put them on a flash drive, take it home and pop it in your ps4 and upload it from the drive.

I always upload my saves to the cloud and download them on my other ps4, I've done it both ways on both systems with no problem. The flash drive should do the trick for you

You need to be logged in to the PSN account that has the saves you want, then you go to settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved data in online storage. Then download the save file you want.

Note: you can only download a save file for a game that is currently installed on the console. On your home console go to settings > PSN > Activate as your primary PS4 so it will set your own console as the primary. Make sure you are logged in to your own PSN account and be certain your account isn't the default one on your friend's PS4 and he isn't accidently logged into it. That's all there is to it. Barring these not working then I don't know.

Alternatively you can get a USB flash drive and use that
