as stated in my OP, you must just not be good enough at halo 2 yet to see the huge flaws in the game. halo 1 was 10x more balanced than halo 2. not to mention, halo 2 has the following:

- Larger Hit Boxes
- More Auto Aim
- Lockon Rockets
- Dual wieldable guns are wortless unless duel wielded
- Power weapons don't respawn on a timer, only respawn when they are out of ammo and dropped
- The sword doesn't run out of ammo.
- weakened grenades (fixed it with patch)

There are HUGE balance issues with these problems ... the game was completely noobified. I did not notice it probably until 2-3 months after playing it every day. i still play it every day almost, however its just a fact that the game is horrible unbalanced, and completely noobified. the match making gametypes are horrible for the most part. Thank god for custom games, otherwise i would hardly play halo 2.

and yes, i'm only talking about multiplayer aspects, not single player, i didnt finish single player.

Oh definitely I can see the larger hit boxes, auto aim, and rockets. in fact, that's the worse thing about halo 2, the rockets have become too powerful, but I could say the same about the pistol and sniper rifle in halo 1. Dual wieldable guns aren't worthless, just the smg and pistol. both the plasma rifle and plasma pistol can still overwhelm people with much better weapons due to their paralyzing ability. I agree with the respawn, but I love the sword and how it doesn't run on ammo, but that's my bias just because it's my favorite weapon. I can definitely see your point about it being a bit more unbalanced than halo 1, but halo 1 had its own balancing issues, i.e. pistol WAY too powerful. But I don't see anyway how it's noobified. Unbalanced != noobified.

I was so awesome at that game in battle mode. I played it with my sister and brother for like 3 years...at first she really sucked but after awhile even she developed some mad skills. I tried to play with other kids, but I'd played it so much I'd just utterly slaughter them and they wouldn't pick up the controller.

That game would be the best game ever if there were a few more battle courses and the ability for 4 players to play.

Tip: If you've got no defense against an incoming red shell, drive right next to the wall and use the hop buttons as its coming towards you. While you're in the air during the hop, the red shell loses its tracking for that instant and will sometimes veer into the wall.

Mariokart 64 = an embarrassment to the name mario kart.

Most emulators that were around back when I tried to play MK on the PC didn't support the FX chip used in mario kart. I dunno if thats changed.

wow man ... i am truly shocked to know that there are some true SNES Mario Kart fans on here, and that for once some people see the light that the SNES one is by far the best ... it almost brings a tear to my eye.

Fvck...what I hated about the gamecube mario kart is that when you are about to finish a race in the 150 cc league a freaking red shell comes out of nowhere making you end up in 2nd or 3rd place...

The worst part about mario kart though, was the computer cheats. If the predetermined "winner" of the race gets knocked all the way into 8th place the game gives him extra speed to catch back up. Its total bullsh|t when you thought you'd fvcked that luigi real good by shelling his ass just as he went over the jump. By all rights, he's a whole half a lap behind and should be fvcked...but within half a lap he's back on your ass again.
