PSU: ENERMAX EG565AX 535W

looking at picking up the ENERMAX EG565AX-VEFMA2.0-SLI from newegg for $127

anyone have any opinionson this PSU?

anything better out there for the money?

just trying to get a consensus

OK but not enough better than the XClio 450 (< $60. shipped at newegg.com , and info at xclio.com) to justify that price...

wow I thought Enermax was a good company and was thinking people would have a lot of good things to say about them...

i'm starting to wondering if maybe i was wrong...

Make a mistake - buy Antec. This Enermax is 20 pin. I think four years ago I bought a Enermax 350. It now resides in a server 24/7. I have the Enermax 600. That should last awhile. I remember when everyone was talking 250 watt was plenty, then 300 and then 400. Make sure you buy a 24 pin PS. Don't worry about which company is better, but buy the respected brands: Enermax PC Power Fortron Seasonic

I've had my Enermax EG701AX online for almost 6-months without any problems or regrets that I spent as much for it as I did. It's quiet, stable, easy on my UPS\wall outlet and performs just as advertised. I don't see what more you could ask of any PSU at any price. One suggestion would be to have it sleeved, if it doesn't come that way.

Every loom coming off the PSU is wrapped in nylon mesh. This makes things easier to route, plus it looks a lot better.
