"Pushing Daisies" on ABC

I liked the first episode and will check it out again next week, my only question is when he brings fruit back to life does another piece of fruit die?

Loved the pie-lette but I, like posters above, am concerned that the novelty could wear off.

They do stand way too close together. That monkey move at the end could easily have been disastrous.

I hope they address the question of whether he's more like rogue from x-men and could touch her with gloves, or if it's more of an aura thing. Seems like static electricity, so he should be able to get a grounding bracelet

yeah, i agree with rapidsnail... but i think it works... amelie and lemony snicket and pushing daisies had this quirky feel to it that is kinda pleasant (although not so much for lemony, since its kinda dark)

Good show i hope they keep it up for a few seasons and if they do cancel it, I hope they give it a proper ending...

I liked it. chuck was very cute looking.

only thing is what will the story be about? I mean is he going to revive people each and every week and collect the money? That seems to grow stale. He's what in his mid twenties. You'd think he'd try to figure out how/why he has this gift by now.

anyone find it wierd that Chuck doesn't have any scaring? Usually when one's murdered and gets thrown overboard they do an autopsy regardless of family wishes.

Life has been the best quirky show so far.

I haven't seen Journeyman yet, but I found Life very, very boring. I was only 20 minutes in and I just couldn't stand it anymore. The only reason I watched it is because someone (I think on IMDB) compared the lead character to House in a way, so that peaked my interest. Unfortunately, the lead character was a bit boring and most certainly not like House.

EDIT: I watched Pushing Daisies tonight and it reminded me a lot of that Will Ferrel movie, "Stranger Than Fiction." Not sure how much I like it, but I think I'll at least give it another watch .

Just finished watching the first episode and I'm hooked! This show is going to be brilliant. I love the storyline and the characters involved. I'm already going crazy that he can't touch Chuck!

i thought it was hilarious when kristen chenowith was running down the steps, in this week's episode, holding her breasts to keep from bouncing.

It also has the executive producer from Lemony Snicket as the director for some of the episodes. Although, I'm not a huge fan of Dead Like Me (I think it's alright, but nothing special), so that doesn't do much for me, but I still like Pushing Daisies.

I've only heard bad things about Bionic Woman, but I've been told that I should check out Journeyman. Chuck isn't too bad for some brainless TV watching. It has enough action to at least keep you watching it. Life is just boring and had a little too much drama and not enough crime solving.

EDIT: It's also interesting to note that Ned ( the piemaker ) is also the religious brother on Wonderfalls (an interesting show if you've never seen it).

Still like it and am watching it regularly now, but what's with all the blue screening for exagerated cartooniness... Not that it's annoying, just that the novelty might wear off sooner than later.
