Well, powerpoint it's self cannot "push" to other computers, your best bet would be to use a LAN manager that allows you to lock remote comptuers and send them the screen of the one master computer, i can't remember the names right off hand though.
Not "exactly" what you're looking for, but it would work:
use Remote Administrator (Radmin). Have all the computers connect to the master computer with a Screen-only connection. (You can set what all you will allow on the master computer)
Wouldn't give you sound and not "quite" ideal, but it's doable
OK, when you said "no webx" I assume you mean no WebEx.
How about simply creating an HTML slideshow from PowerPoint and posting it on your intranet? Even if you have to quickly set up something like SimpleServer to do it I imagine you would save a lot of time (and can probably find other uses for the idea).
If that isn't acceptable, or you really need voice/text chat at the same time, how about using Windows Messenger with application sharing (assuming these are Windows PCs). You even get a built-in, sharable whiteboard this way.
