Did you know that ATI has been making multiple card video systems since like 1992 or earlier? There's a setup like that over at the Lockheed plant near me. It had 32, 128 MB, 256 bit 9800 Pros and each one takes care of rendering just one color bit. They use it in their flight simulators.
What I'd like to know is when nVidia will stop chasing the ever loving frame rate thing at the expense of overall image quality and compatablility with games? When will they stop paying developers like 1C: Maddox Games to make some proprietary mode that produces unplayable frame rates and get down to overall image quality at high eye candy rates?
Whe they finally stop conning the gamers and just come out with a better product, I'll be there to buy that very day!
