Question about SLi

Gday,
I was cruising on eBay and found this little gem.

It says that the card is "AGP 4/8x....SLi Ready". In the product overview it says "PCI-Express / AGP 8X interface"

Now I was under the impression that SLi was for PCI-e cards only? Am I missing something completly? plz help a confused man!



Edit: How much do you think I'd get for a Gainward 6800Gt Ultra2400 AGP 256mb?

Also, plz specify if you're talking in US or AUS $$ thanks

Unless you can find a motherboard with 2 AGP slots or a dual-core card that works with AGP (I've never heard of one) whomever wrote the ad is clueless.

Your auction link doesn't work, but I think your first question has already been answered. AGP cards are not SLI compatible.

As far as the money you could fetch for your 6800GT... The best way to figure this out is to search for similar items on ebay, then narrow your search to only include auctions that have already ended. That way you can see what they sold for. You may also have to consider where you are willing to ship to. A seller that is willing to ship to, for example, North America and Europe will have a much larger target market than if you are only planning on shipping to Australia.
