Hi everyone, I have a simple question that i havent the clue what the answer is-
I have an assumption its just paranoia but might as well ask.

I have a wireless network at home- using Cable ISP- to my D-link Router.
I use a wired LAN connection to my PC (infact i use two of the ports and team them to my motherboard)
I use the wireless networks for my PS3/Xbox360.

Anyways recently my girlfriend moved in and she has a Macbook which she uses (with Leopard) anyways i never thought about it- but i realised she visits alot of stupid sites and downloads alot of stuff from Limewire etc (stuff that i never do for security reasons).

My question is - Is it possible since im using Wireless internet that if she went to a site that contained malware scripts or a virus that it could be transferred to my Vista Based PC ?
I dont have them sharing data at all- just the internet connection.
I also know that there using two different OS' but sites that dont render harmful to the Mac could be harmful to Vista OS-

Anyways - Hoping someone has the answer
I think its a no but it would be nice to have solid info.
Thanks again

There are attacks that involve malicious sites reconfiguring your router from within the home network (to allow further attacks). Given the setup, that would be the primary issue I'd have. Setting a strong password on the router should handle it (as well as turning of UPnP support if your ultra paranoid )

Also, were she to download something that sat dormant and inoperative on her Mac but that you copied onto your computer, it could certainly spring to life inside its new squishy Windows home. But that'd be a non-issue as long as you have up to date virus and malware protection.
