Quick Disconnects For water cooling

Just curious,

I have a water cooling settup at home. Occasionally I tend to transport my setup to other locations. My fans, resevoir, and pump are in an external box which is connected by two hoses to the main case. Right now the hoses use barbs as connections, but I'm interested in getting quick disconnects. Does anyone know of a good place to get quick disconnects compatable with water cooling? If they have auto shutof of the liquid on disconnect, then that would be even better!

P.S. I use 1/2" tubing, water with redline water wetter, maze3 water block, copper heater core.

You might want browse either www.mcmaster.com or www.usplastics.com for Colder disconnects. I know the latter carries them in various sizes and with(out) shutoffs.

Just a warning though, they do restrict the flow especially the shutoff types.

Comes to $32 for two pair.

The only two problems with using quick disconnects are the flow restrictions they cause and the water that leaks out when you disconnect them. There is still a small amount of water trapped in the connector between the two valves that close and this needs to be soaked up when you disconnect it.
