My ultimate solution is to stop buying the glass bottle. However, for the glass bottle, it seems to work pretty good if you hold it at about a 45 degree angle and give it a few firm shakes.

Hold the bottle at about a 60º angle, and tap the bottle on each of the little "57" engravings where the neck of the bottle ends. rotate the bottle between each 57 tap.

Hunt's and only Hunt's. I probably couldn't tell the difference between it and Heinz, but both my mother and grandmother worked at a Hunt's plant at one point in their lives. I know Hunt's is ConAgra now and all that, but there's still some brand loyalty there.

I don't buy the glass bottle for home. I'm not even sure you can still get them at the grocery store. Alot of restaurants seem to have them, though.

The method of holding the bottle at an angle and tapping the 57 works for me every time.

Heinz and Hellman's. Miracle Whip can go away and never come back.

ugg ketchup is pretty nasty stuff for the most part. Ketchup + mustard is getting better. BBQ sauce is where it's at however.
