Quick question... Radeon VE and Win98

I am planning to change my video card to a Radeon VE dual display, I read in the website and reviews that requires Win98SE. I have the regular Win 98 with the service packs. Is that good enough or I really need to upograde to Win98SE. If I am not mistaken thay are basically the same
I am not gonna use this computer to play games, I use a different one for that
