Well short of being stuff in the middle of a desert/wasteland, I can't think of too many reasons why you would need to go 3 weeks without bathing or not be able to get 'net access (especially if you are somewhere on continental North America - or even South America).

Why don't you enlighten us?

It seems to me you are perfectly capable of getting online to defend yourself, but you haven't shown the same interest in getting online to defend your precious ATi lately, hence the remarks.

I didnt say I wasnt in the middle of a desert. I said I wasnt drafted. You can leave your anti-war/pres/government comments out of this thread, there is no need for them here.

I am a United States Marine. I have not had access to the net, like I did when I was home. With training, and school, I dont have much time. There was a 11 week or so stretch where I didnt have any. Was home for a little over a week, and gone again Three weeks again with zero access. I now have access, but I dont use it much. I dont have internet in my barracks, have to bring my laptop to the rec center, where we have free access. Its just 100 yards or so, not too far. But I dont come here every day, and I certainly dont check anand every chance I get.

I dont have to defend myself to you, or anyone else. You were wrong on multiple accounts, yet havent even had the common decency to say you were wrong, or make any sort of apology. Instead you just continue to insult. I dont come here to "defend my precious ATI". Im a Marine defending something real.

NV really stepped up to the plate as far as I can tell with the quality of AF, and a few other things that were big improvements over the 7x series. The 8x series is much better in every area, other than the high price it still demands. Where as the 7x dropped in price fast, but it also had competition. The ball is clearly in ATI/AMDs court. While the 8800 series isnt perfect (drivers come to mind), there is no single performance crown debate right now.

If I was going to buy a card right now, it would be an 8800GTX, easy choice to me. Perhaps even two. I buy whatever I think is best, no matter what brand. I guarantee I buy more cards than you do, and have used far more than you. But go ahead and keep slinging mud with name calling, and acting as if you're perfect. If I had a pizza, Id have dinner and a show reading your posts.
