Here is the deal again...since no one is getting it out of trying to push so hard at this.

Let me break it down *again*.

Saying "my black friend" when talking about a friend that is not present vs "that black guy over there" are two different things.

Once you say something like the former, you have now put a value on what 'black' means (and it becomes more than just color, since your friend is not present and the color of him has no bearing)...

Now this doesn't mean one hates that race, it just means that one separates races.

People can argue this all they want...it's been proven time and time again and why the big push by those in the field to stop using color as a label in situations it doesn't matter.

Even praising terms like "he is black so he naturally has rhythm" also opens the door to color somehow changes the make up of a person.

Outside of the color of his skin, how is a black man inherently different than a white man?

Assume each was born at the same time and adopted by say a Native American family. Outside of color, how would they not be the same?

What I meant was that there are several differences between Black people and White people. I am not (and did not) saying that either race is better. You can not deny that there will always be differences between two races in any comparison. Hell, even if a White child and a Black child were raised by the same parents what makes you think that they would be the same other than the physical differences? Have you ever met two siblings that are exactly the same? Even identical twins have different personalities.

A human being is a human being, for good and bad. No superior or inferior "race", we're all just different and yet undeniably the same. It's the same throughout history. It takes a special kind of willing ignorance and foolishness to say once race is superior to another, or to hate people because of their physical state.

exactly. For a physical description using race is fine, especially when looking for a criminal whether they are white, indian, black, etc...

And even if the comment is a good one, it's still racist like "oh he's black so he's good at sports" or "she's asian so she's excellent at math".

Racist comments are what leads to racism.

Well if you think the "hip-hop" culture is black only then yes on both counts.

Well hating white trash but not black or asian or other racial 'trash', then yes. However, as a caveat to that most will say something like "oh look at those N*****rs". When everyone is suddenly quiet they will throw in something like "oh, i'd hate them too if they were white trash!"...doesn't usually fly as believable though.
