I just got a new abit st6-raid, with the high point 370 raid controller onboard... I have 2 maxtor 40 gig drives.. I decided to go ahead and use raid 0 and the ntfs file system...
I posted a sandra score of 20000... this is pathetic... with my single drive, I could get 25000....
I have tried to install hp's xp drivers... windows xp is incredibly picky about which drivers it allows.... and it hasnt allowed these for me...
currently my raid controller is driven by a microsoft driver... could this be the problem with the performance?? I was hoping to get atleast 30000 on sandra...
Any ideas???
