Okay, here's my problem.
I am attempting to set up to Maxtor 80gig drive with my new 8k9A2+. I have done a bunch of searches, both here and on google, and can't find the answer to this particular problem.
When I am booting up for the first time, hitting Ctrl-h (for Highpoint) to set up my RAID array doesn't work.
The keyboard is working, since I can get into the BIOS before this screen and make changes just fine. But once I get to this part (from memory, something like this):
Press "Crtl-H" to enter BIOS utility
Scan for devices
Primary Master: Maxtor 6Y080L0
Primary Slave: None
Secondary Master: Maxtor 6Y080L0
Secondary Slave: None
_
And it just sits there, no matter how long I leave it, with NOTHING happening and hitting ctrl-h (either left-ctrl or right-ctrl) doesn't do anything. Once I get into that I know what to do, but this is really bugging me since I have no idea how to fix this problem.
I am kind of a "noob" at BIOS problems, but I am pretty good at figuring things like this out so I'm very frustrated. Any thoughts?
BTW, I'm using a PS/2 keyboard.
