Ok, I have never messed with raid much in my lifetime, but understand some of the concepts.
I am buying two drives that I want to setup as raid 1 for double storage of data.
I want to format my current two drives in raid 0 in such a way that I would be able to have a separate partition for my operating system and the rest for program/game installs.
Can I setup these two setups separately from each other, as in 2 drives in raid 1 setup, then setup my raid 0 drives?
How can I setup my drives in raid 0 so I have a separate partition for my OS? Is this possible?
Would my 16MB drives in raid 0 be any faster or slower then 32MB drives in raid 0?
Thanks.
