Problem: This all happened randomly one day, At first i was getting "Asus anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply," i then turned it off in BIOS, unplugged all my power cables then plugged them back in thinking lose connection, then turned it back on. Now I'm getting...
Random reboots, its a hard reboot. NO crash screens, no BSOD, no ASUS power surge screen just goes black then post, then windows loads. I don't have to be doing anything special it can happen instantly after it reboots after reboot after reboot, i can be surfing the internet 5 minutes after boot then it reboots, i can get a solid hour playing a game then it reboots or i can just be idle then it reboots.
Things i tried to do to fix this:
1: Reconnect all cables, includding sata connections
2: New RAM
3: Brand new PSU
4: Returned all clocks and voltages to stock settings
4: Reinstall windows thinking i had some sort of infection...i didnt know what was wrong at this point...
Note: temps are fine, wall outlet grounded, surge protector is used.
Can a bad motherboard cause this? I gave it a once over, then a twice over with a magnifying glass, i see no physical damage front or back of the motherboard, no bent pins no places for a ground when installed, nothing.
Any ideas of what is wrong or how to solves this issue?
