I was wondering if anyone was familiar or had a resolution to this problem.
I recently changed my motherboard and video card and after a complete reinstall of my OS and programs, I run into a video stuttering issue when I play ffxi.
Every 1 to 2 minutes, the video will freeze for about 1-3 seconds then warps right onto the current frame. During the freeze up, the music will play like normal, only the video will lock up. I have not experienced this freeze up outside of the game, but i have yet to test it with any other games or dvds/videos.
I am using the most current drivers for both my motherboard and video card. I have tried rolling back my drivers to the early 8x, but nothing has changed. I have also installed the amd dual core optimizer.
my rig is as follows:
amd x2 4400
2 gig ram
bfg nforce4 ultra mobo
pny 512mb geforce 7600gs PCIE
turtle beach montego ddsomething??
netgear wireless nic
72gig raptor HD
Thanks for any help! I appreciate it!
