Its amazing how varying the views are between all of us. Some agree with me, some sound like communists in disguise, some are on the fence. I for one consider myself on the fence, I just have always looked at antiwar protesters as scum of the earth. Probably from the image projected thru the 60s and it seems its always a liberal movement. And liberals have really turned me off in the 90s, they are intolerant for others, they have the whole white guilt thing going on (that we owe for past racial crimes), love affirmative action and other quota systems and they murdered those women and children in Waco, Texas using the name of the US government.
I mean, we all agree Vietnam was a terrible war.. but I wouldnt have dodged the draft.. if I was going to do that when my nation called upon me I wouldnt call myself an american and I sure as hell wouldnt sit here and say we're unjust and could live with myself being apart of American society. So I dont think I need to join the military to show my enthusiam, some of you need to find a new country that you can be halfway satisfied with the leadership instead of saying we're the reason iraq invaded kuwait.
Because if you dont know, it was a liberal democrat who got us into vietnam and a conservative republican who got us out.. so you protested and dodged that war, and now this one, so just leave with blowhard alec baldwin to canada. Odviously neither party is to your liking.
I guess i'd protest the war if I thought it was unjust or the USA was unjust.. and some of you say that we are unjust but that just isnt true.
