I am trying to decide on a new gaming mouse. One of the things I want is for the driver to let me choose a configuration for the buttons based on the application that is running. So for Q3 it is a certain config, for Photoshop maybe back and forward are mapped to zoom in out, etc.
Can someone tell me if either the setpoint drivers or Razer drivers can do this? It looks like setpoint might have this ability, but I don't see it in the razer driver screenshots.
I'd really like to check out the MX Revolution but I have read it is not so great for gaming. So I am considering MX518 and Razer Deathadder.
Smooth/sensitive movement with no acceleration in games is paramount. I prefer high-sensitivity and short/fingertip control. Any other suggestions besides these two mice?
