Reading Win 2K Minidump files ???

I have been having intermittent lock ups on my machine and the system records what was going on at the time. How do I read the Minidump (.dmp) files so I can see what caused the crash?

Should I be saving the full kernel dump or the systm dump instead to get more information?

i think there are utilites out there...and i don't think its at all easy to interprate.

If you do a Kernal dump it will give you about 95% what you need. Reading the memory stack and figuring out what is wrong is fairly difficult if you do not have any experience in debugging. You can use WinDbg and your going to need the symbols as well...
