I partitioned my 2 new WD SE 120 gig HDD's the other day and filled one of them with approximately 40 G of data. Yesterday I wanted to partition the one with data (using partition magic, partitioning the free space.) Problem is, Partition Magic reports that the partitions were created under a different drive geometry and wont let me partition it. Another thing...the 2 hard drives mentioned above have a strange "bubbled" appearance on the black underside of the hard drive. I doubt the temps were so high as to cause this, but I want to rule out the fact that it may be damage. I will RMA just in case. any help appreciated.
