The real reason is she does not want your dumb ass kid back in her class next year.

NY: you cannot proctor your own students during state assessments. You don't even get to touch those tests. Your evaluation is based in part upon how well those students do.

Personally, I think this is stupid - I want to be present when they're grading the tests, otherwise it forces me not to "teach to the test," but to "teach to the method that's most likely on the answer key."

Apparently, the teacher in question is one of 180 under investigation.

The "Dumb as hell" remark is hearsay that comes from the testimony of a teacher who admittedly doesn't get along with the teacher in question...

But the teacher is "reportedly now going into politics."

At least, she has found a field where a lack of integrity won't be considered a drawback.
