Same thing just happened to me, I'm pissed off. I want my $60. Where is the number to call where I can speak to someone and fix this.
EDIT: Just called and gave them the serial number and they revalidated the rebate. It still pisses me off that they would try and pull that crap on customers.

I got a question. I just found 3 rebates that i havent recived payment for. They are old. 2 of them were from december of 2003 and one was from April of 2004. The one from April is the one that i really want, its $30 for a HD at Circuit city. I have photocopies of the reciets and upc code. is it to late to get them now?
You can try, but there's a very, very good chance that the rebates are closed out and the programs no longer exist, which means no funds to pay out.

Still waiting on my Office Max Mad Dog rebate for 15.00 from July 13th, 2004. I sent two in that day, one for 40.00 for a Mad Dog DVDRW and 15.00 for a Mad Dog 5.1 soundcard. I waited until Nov 10th and I called about both saying it's way beyond 6-8 weeks as said on the rebate form. The CSR said she would put both of these to an escalation dept and I would have my checks in 7-10 days (business days I guess). I called again on the 23rd since it had now been 9 business days, and asked where's my money. She said I need to give the full 10 business days and if I don't get a check to call back. I gave these morons another week and I called on the 30th. The CSR told me it's already in the escalation dept and I have to wait. I replied no I don't. Now give me your supevisor since you and I are done here.
I finally got someone after being on hold for 10 minutes and this supervisor was very apologetic for all the time and confusion and so forth but I also need to wait some more. I refused and told here I am getting tired of phone calls, lies, the run around's and the lot. I told her I want my money, now. It's been over 20 weeks and that this rebate house better get me my checks. She changed her tune and said she will personally get my account to the proper people. That was the best I had heard so I gave her benefit of the doubt. I checked the rebatehq.com website the next day (Dec 1st) and the check for the 40.00 DVDRW rebate was issued but the 15.00 sound card rebate was not. I kept checking until the 8th (this last Monday) and I called one more friggin' time. Unfortunately, the CSR and her supervisor I talked to were both beyond morons. The supervisor looks into my file and I explain to her that I had been calling about two rebates, one was already cut and I now want the second one issued. She looked up the 40.00 check that was issued and said , wow you're getting that early , it was only approved it November. I said WHAT?
This rebate was approved in July and it's been over 20 weeks, what are you talking about. She reads me some gobbledegook about the 6 months waiting period that they keep a rebate offer open only to resolve issues. She misinterprets that info and she then procedes to tell me that the rebates actually have 10-12 weeks AFTER the 6 months, and I have a ways to go. This person was beyond any comprehension of anything I was telling her. I don't know how she became a supervisor. I then remembered the old addage of "never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience", so I hung up the phone and I am still trying to decide what to do. I think next week I will go to the OM where I bought the sound card and try to get my 15.00 that way.
Office Max rebates are generally good. It's just this Office Max rebate that's affiliated twith Mad Dog.

I called the number on the rebate form. I entered my rebate through the OM website so I had a tracking number generated automatically. The number is 1-888-808-5935. You have to listen to the prompts and when you can't go any further, hit 0 repeatedly and you will eventually get transferred to a point where you're waiting for a CSR and after 5 minutes a CSR will answer.

Is your rebate listed at rebateshq.com? Because if it is, you don't need a tracking number. All the rebates I've sent it by mail (without online registration), I am pretty sure I never received a tracking number by email. The only time I received tracking numbers was for the pre-registration online rebates, such as the one I did with OM/Mad Dog.
As long as you're listed at the Maxrebates.com (rebateshq.com) they should be able to find you.

"No status results were found matching your search criteria. Either we did not receive your rebate or it is in the process of being entered in our systems. Please check back periodically.
If you feel you have a problem with your rebate, please contact customer service."
That's what rebateshq.com tells me. Once finals are over this week, I'll have to call. Hopefully I haven't waited too long to resolve this.
Hopefully you have copies of everything you submitted. They will ask you to send them if they can't find your submission. By the way, my 15.00 check was issued today for the Mad Dog 5.1 channel card. This is the last Mad Dog rebate I ever deal with.
