Rebooting problem

Ok, i just installed a new Heatsink and new Power Supply, Vantec Aerocool 2 and Vantec ION 400.

Now when i play a game it reboots on me after a few mins, it seems to happen when my PC hits 45c. I know what your thinking but I dont think its the Power Supply cause my rails all seem to be spot on when playing. is it just my ceramique is not setting in yet? or maybe i applied it wrong, idle 32-34 load 40-45.

When it reboots my BIOS says i need to apply changes because it forgets the setting it seems, should I reboot CMOS?

Any one have any ideas??

512 pc3200
Shuttle AN35n Ultra
ATI 9600 Pro

its not my ram i dont think either, cause its the same ram ive had which i know to be stable.

this all started right after my installation of PS and HS.

and it makes no sence cause im running some tests to see if it happens out of the game, im ripping a DVD to HD and its not crashing at all.

Why not try the old power supply and see if the problem goes away? If you bios is always forgetting the settings, you have a problem. What do you have your 2500 set to mem/fsb wise?

my 2500 was at the same speed as a 3000+ i beleive, i am now running stock but its not crashing, only when i play the game i checked my Vid Card fan and it seems to be working, and like I said my rails seem to be fine, im gonna try my old PS in a little bit if it continues.

I just went to Radioshack and bought a duster just to be sure it wasnt a dust problem.

if it seems to work with my old PS the I will RMA the ION to Newegg, but if it doesnt work still I dont know what to do.

what would it be causing it to not remember my settings. Dead mobo batt?

What are your FSB / MEM settings? A dead mobo battery could cause your problem, but I doubt such a new board has a dead battery.

FSB is stock 166

Mem is 11-3-3-3

at least for now, want to try and find a stable setting and that seems to work, besides a Nforce board works better at timings like those for some reason.

but it seems to be ok for right now, been playing for about 10-15 mins.
