recomendations(sp) on new tv

looking to get some sort of westinghouse for cheap. I missed out on that deal in "hot deals".

But I also have a few more questions. Im looking at making this a bedroom tv, and would like to hook up my computer and 360, is that even possible?

And what would i need to hook it up to my computer to save shows and whatnot.

the xbox will connect to the vga input, the computer would connect to the hdmi input (with a dvi to hdmi adapter), and the tv will connect either through composite or component input depending on your cable or satellite box.

You can use the PVR-150 to record analog cable, or the HVR-1600 to add OTA digital channel recording.

Obviously, don't buy it from Best Buy, as I'm sure you can get it cheaper elsewhere. But it works great for me. I've got my 360 hooked up through Component and my PC hooked up through VGA.

Side Question: What kind of quality boost can I expect from changing my PC output from VGA to DVI->HDMI?

If you're using the native resolution of the lcd screen, you will be very hard-pressed to notice any quality difference between the two.

If you're using any non-native resolution, the monitor will display the digital signal in better clarity.
