I've been making a lot of sangria since realizing that I can't tell the difference between fresh versus frozen (not canned) fruit.
bag of frozen sliced peaches, bag of frozen strawberries, slice up an orange, and add white wine. (as opposed to having to peel fresh pieces and dice up a pound of strawberries)
also known as "mezz e mezz" (half and half) around here, merlot wine + gazosa (lemon flavour) (not that stuff with artificial sweeteners which fresca is according to wiki).My wife makes a "ghetto" sangria. any open bottle of red and some fresca over ice. No prep time and it doesnt taste half bad.
