I haven't had to return yet. Everything I've ordered so far has worked ok but the poor condition of a few of the pieces have made me feel that it's just a matter of time. Figure your just playing roulette - remember you only have 15 days to figure out if you have a lemon. My last purchase was a Abit NV7M that was dirty a had scratches on the PCB around the socket. Luckily it's worked, but it the $25 I saved over new wasn't worth the time (not only the amount of time but having to compress it into those 2 weeks) checking it out.

They don't promise any accessories. These are generally returns I'm guessing, from people that couldn't figure out how to install or whatever. If they didn't send back the IDE cable, you won't get one. Some may not have the original box, etc. Assume you'll get nothing because they promise nothing besides the board. But I've usually gotten everything. I usually only get refurbed mobos that I already have (or got in the past) a retail one of. That way I have the manual and driver disc already.

yea, mine has the onboard lan, and mine were also oem, as the site stated, bare board only...

I received mine yesterday but it was just the board. No CD, no manual, no cables, no screws, no anything besides the board. Otherwise, its working fine on my Duron 800.

I ordered a shuttle AK32 for $29 also, and I got it today. I guess I got lucky!! Brand new sealed board with all of the accessories....I love Newegg!!

Just an update on my no lan problem. Newegg is offering a $9 refund to me.. so basicly it was $20 shipped for me

so if anyone else didn't get lan along with their board... email newegg and they will give you credit back

I know this, I have ordered from them plenty. I just wanted to see what the overall status was since Newegg had so many of them.

last time i ordered a refurb mobo it said oem but when it arrived it had everything in it. the board is still running with no problems still! i would say it has been 6 months already.

1/2 the items I ordered from Newegg that day didn't work. Got a CDRW that didn't work and a flaky CD-ROM.
Got to be careful about these newegg refurb now. At least I heard they have a decent return policy.

last time i have the same problem with the on board LAN and the CSR refuse to do so. Said its a refurb. either return for "repair" or refund... YMMV. But the other time, the refurb. case has a dent and she does drop a few $

Just return a EPOX, unstable... and fax in the shipping recipt for refund up to $10. (mind 10.53, so loss 0.53 and fax phone cost. )

I think those who have Everything can be:
1) unopen or unused customer return -> virtually new
2) a real refurb. by manufactor. They check the board and see it go thro their QC and make sure everything there. (like some EPOX and some ECS i got, they have additonal "Q/C" label on the board which show it has somehow been "checked" and repack...funny is 2 out of 4 those board actually failed)

the rest.... just resell of return... you take a risk.


Chynkboi, do you make sure the BIOS has it enable? or try update to a with LAN BIOS or those OC BIOS (i know a new OC bios come a few days ago).

I got mine today. It came with only the board and no built in network. I sent them an email about the missing network and they told me to buy the retail version if I wanted network support. I can understand the lack of accessories, but I think the part itself should at least be shipped as described. It's a minor point but i'm still disappointed in newegg.

Received my (3) today and all are refurbs in retail box with all accessories, software, and manual and sealed at the factory.

One is an older model(yellow manual) and the other (2) were with the newer bluish/green manual.

I will check them out in the next few days and if any are bad I will RMA them and ask for a return...I seem to get new boards that way!!!

I got my 2 boards today. They were packed in a sealed bag. No box. No nothin'. They didn't even have onboard LAN. They are ver 3.1 if that matters for anything.
