Some interesting statistics in there. They will pass us at our current rates on 08/26/2031, they are gaining 17WUs a day. I don't know if this is accurate though. Anyways, we are close

They bring up the thought of joining our teams though into a "World Domination" team. They hypothesize that if we joined forces we would be the number 1 team on June 28, 2003. What do you guys think?

They suggested "World Domination", but I would have to go with Team Anandtech. I think that's the problem we would get into. Some people would want to remain with their team, some people would want to merge, those that are merging would fight over name, logo, etc. Lots of problems could arise.

Oh, any talk of merging the teams would fall on deaf ears here. It just wouldn't be the same. I'd go cold turkey without the fru-fru like counters and such that we have at dslr.... Good night, it's time to go home....

Regardless of the outcome of this race or any future race against DSLR, here's what I suggest we do.

We merge DSLR with TA; this would combine all our work units together and we would make a huge jump up the world rankings. However, records would still be kept of each new member that joined TA and DSLR. In other words, we would have an official total of over 3 million WU's combined, but the name of the merged 3 million WU's monster would be something like D.S.L.R.T.A.

We would "officially" be a merged team, but in a way we would create two factions within the same team, and that way we would still be able to compete with each other. Our WU production would be guaranteed to go up for ever and ever by having this fierce races.
